FOOT EXERCISES IN PILATES

Footwork is a fundamental part of our Pilates practice.

The feet are connected to every muscle, nerve, organ and gland of the body. They provide a mechanical and sensory link to the entire body.

Bringing awareness to footwork helps reset the body, particularly in our standing Pilates exercises.

It is magical to get those feet out of shoes and simply move the ankles, toes and connect to the ground. Changing your environment under foot is stimulation for the entire body.
